UAV Master class

Diversify your skillset and experience through new, challenging flying environments and objectives.  Designed for those with significant flight experience that are comfortable with most aspects of UAV operation, the Master Class will take your program to the next level.  Guest experts, peer collaboration, and access to restricted flying locations provides for a truly unique and beneficial conference.  Only a small portion of this 4 day workshop will be spent in a classroom setting.  The majority of time will be spent in the field, honing new flying skills in a variety of unique environments.  Our goal is to safely push the limits of our flying capabilities through objective-based flying in unfamiliar skies.  Registration is limited, applications are required to attend.

Guest Experts

We plan to host 2 industry experts to present their craft and collaborate directly with you and your site-specific questions.  Pulling from their experience, you will be able to approach your operation in a new mindset.

Peer Collaboration

Collaborating with other peers, you'll have the opportunity to discuss past experiences, new ideas, and best practices gives you the ability to learn from other's mistakes and energize your program back home.  Relationships created in the field can prove invaluable in the future as questions arise or advice is needed.

unique flying opportunities

Our first flights will take place in the heart of the Rocky Mountains outside of Ogden, UT.  Weather permitting, we'll fly near the world-class Snowbasin Ski Resort, surveying a communications tower at 9,000' elevation.  Day 2 we'll hit the road and travel south to Moab, UT, home of two national parks, two state parks, and some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet.  Infrared surveys of an industrial mining site will segue to optional sunset/sunrise flights available to any that wish to participate.  After lunch on Day 3, we will depart for the Hanksville/Caineville area for some truly incredible aerial mapping opportunities near Goblin Valley.  Day 4 we'll return to Ogden, discuss media management and editing practices in depth, and conclude with a dinner presentation highlighting data collected from all flying locations.
